Positive: Our room with three twin beds was small but decent. I probably wouldn’t choose this room again if we come back. It was definitely clean, the A/C worked well, and it was surprisingly quiet. I also liked the residential-style bathroom. It felt relaxing. However, the layout is a bit odd. When you come out of the bathroom, you're right behind the room's entrance door. So if someone opens the door at that moment, you could end up exposing yourself to anyone in the hallway.

Negative: We needed to keep our son and his girlfriend’s suitcases in our room for 2–3 hours. But the hotel has this ridiculous rule that doesn’t allow non-guests to even visit a room. So we had to go downstairs and pick up their luggage ourselves. My husband went to the lobby to ask about the reason behind the rule, and they said it was for “security.” But come on. Japan is the safest country in the world. In most other countries, hotels allow non-guests to visit rooms. I honestly think the rule is just there to charge more.

Positive: The hotel was walking distance to the subway. Many restaurants and convenience stores below the hotel. They had an excellent breakfast spread.

Negative: The staff had difficulty communicating with international guests resulting in a long check in line. We are two travelers. I had to book and pay for a 3 person room to get a larger room.

Summary: The hotel is in a great location. The staff had weak communication skills.
