Positive: Lovely staff. Great location. Very pretty room and bathroom. Very helpful about arrival

Negative: No mirror larger than a face mirror in the room ! Please change this.. Also no where to hang clothes. The only other complaint is that it’s cash only. It’s very difficult to get cash, or any large amounts in the Medina… so it was quite inconvenient.

Positive: In a quiet center of the medina, this riad is an excellent escape from the hustle and bustle. Beautiful interiors, helpful staff and comfortable rooms. The breakfast was good and I’d reccommend the tagine.

Negative: Overhead shower did not work.

Positive: This riad is definitely a hidden gem. The staff were wonderful, everything was clean and comfortable, and the location was really central for exploring the medina. I was a little worried reading some other reviews, but after they guided us there the first time it wasn't an issue. We also had dinner at the riad twice and thought the lemon chicken they prepared was one of the best dishes we had in Marrakech. Highly recommend!

Negative: Basically disappointed We thought a nice hotel would be a good finish to our three weeks in Morocco but... The room is spotlessly clean but such a strange shape that there is no room for a queen size bed There are comfortable seats but they are in the alcove with the wash basin There is nowhere to put the suitcase The coffiee and tea are not bad but the breakfast is only just ok Reheated pastry ( micr wave) Industrial pancakes.... The staff speak perfect French and are charming until you ask for something and then they don't "understand " The riad is 500m from the nearest taxi and the alley to get there is straight out of a bad film abouth the kasbah Drug dealers - we saw 4 deals ! So not a great idea There are lots of better places that are much better value for money and better breakfast

Positive: We had a great stay at Riad Ta’achchaqa. From the moment we booked, Ayoub reached out through Booking’s message platform to confirm the booking with us and shared tips and information about Morocco and Marrakech with us. He helped us to arrange for an airport transfer from Casablanca airport to the Riad directly (for a fee). As the Riad is located well within the Medina, Ayoub picked us up from a meeting point near the Riad to show us the path to get to the Riad and also help to transport our luggage to the Riad. The Riad is located in a small street within the Medina but the street is patrolled by a local guard when the sun sets who will bring you to your Riad within the steets, so the area feels safe. The room is very spacious for 3 pax. We had breakfast prepared for us for each day we were there and we enjoyed it on the rooftop every morning. Overall we had a very pleasant stay at Riad Ta’achchaqa.

As a seasoned traveler, I am always fascinated by the ambience and energy of a place, as well as the small details that differentiate an establishment for mere paying customers from one for truly welcome guests. This Riad strikes the perfect balance between deep tradition and worldly elegance. It is clear the owner is passionate about combining elements from different cultures into a unique blend of exquisite decor and charm. This is a place suspended in time, where one constantly wonders if they are a staying guest or a cherished member of a family. Impeccable Comfort and Service The service is characterized by the utmost discretion. The attentive staff anticipates your needs perfectly, always being present without ever being noticeable. My suite was enormous. An ancient, three-meter-tall wooden door opened onto a luxurious, handcrafted green suite. The bed was a true King size—so vast (even for someone 6'3") that one wonders if it will ever end. Three pillows ensured an extremely comfortable night's sleep. The bathroom, nearly as large as the bedroom, showcased a double shower and all the high-quality amenities and toiletries one would expect in a five-star hotel. It subtly welcomed me with a delicate fragrance of citrus and roasted almonds. A Feast for the Senses Breakfast, prepared fresh and never the same by the Riad's talented cook, is a daily delight. It is served either in the shaded cloister—a magnificent "jungle" of Bougainvillea, palm trees, and ivy that hosts a score of little birds chirping a welcome to the sunny day—or on the rooftop terrace.

Positive: Staff very friendly and helpful. Location in medina good, although final approach intimidating if lights off. Breakfast tasty, and good to have option of having a meal in after a long time travelling.

Negative: The night porter when we left was unpleasant and rude. Out of character with rest of staff. Alley when dark and no lights on.
