Summary: Can't say enough about this property. From the welcome by Abdula at the secure gate, we were whisked inside for mint tea, then taken on a guided tour around the property. This is an amazing beautiful home shared with guests. Very quiet due to it being the low season, but we were made to feel at home. Was a nice feeling to hear the gate click shut behind you after the chaos of the Medina. Enjoyed the pool area which has a lovely view over the hillside. Property has a lift which was great traveling with heavy luggage. Breakfast was lovely. All staff were friendly and welcoming. Would happily stay again. Close to city gate to arrive and depart by taxi.

Summary: Absolutely beautiful Riad, with a swimming pool on the roof and strong a/c, both of which were very welcome! Convenient location at the edge of the Medina, so not a ton of walking or risk of getting lost in the labyrinth of streets after the taxi drops you at the gate to the Medina. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Summary: Beautiful Riad with an easy location to walk to after getting dropped off 150M from the road. Ground floor rooms lack privacy from people in the courtyard of the Riad. Bathroom did not have a shower, only a Tub with an attachment from the bottom making standing to shower not possible. Was told breakfast was not possible before 830am (had excursions planned early in the morning) so did not plan on breakfast, however people were eating before 8?

Summary: Riad Semlalia is a true oasis in the middle of the bustling Fes medina, with stunning rooms and inner courtyard, beautiful rooftop terrace with a pool, and the best breakfast we had in Morroco. Abdul was also a fantastic host, always available to help and upgraded us at no cost. The location is a bit far from the centre of the medina and most restaurants but definitely within walking distance and easily accessible by car (though we didn't always feel comfortable with the men lingering around the streets and trying to hassle us).

Summary: Abdoul was a wonderful host: genuinely caring, attentive and helpful. He took a real interest in our well being and nothing was too much trouble for him.the Riad is top notch in every respect and an oasis of tranquility and luxury. One of the most beautiful in Morocco

Summary: A beautiful Riad! Gracious hosts and service. I couldn’t get over the detailed, colorful tile mosaic work in our room and outside our door , where we had the opportunity to sit in a beautiful sitting area to have mint tea or wine. Dinner one night was great and lovely that breakfast was included! Oh and don’t forget about the pool on roof deck.
