Positive: The courtyard is absolutely beautiful and definitely gave us the overall riad experience we wanted . Dinner in the courtyard was very nice. Staff were pleasant. They offered an early breakfast for our departure day, which we appreciated, but unfortunately nothing was ready for the scheduled time, which meant we needed to rush through it so that we could take our taxi to the airport.

Negative: Our ground floor room was VERY dark. It was beautiful from what we could see when the door to the courtyard was open. Our enhanced photos also revealed what the room actually looked like. We know that riad rooms are traditionally dark, but more effective lights when wanted would have enhanced our stay. Our regular breakfast was okay. It wasn’t obvious why people rave about it other than the beautiful setting.

Summary: Overall good experience in a beautiful setting. Room unnecessarily dark.
