Positive: Wonderful to visit the countryside, where we could experience something new after being in Giza. The location is opposite the black, bent and red pyramids and all three can be seen from the garden. These pyramids are very much worth the visit, especially to visit the interiors. The guest villa has a small kitchen area with a fridge, WiFi, and a seating areas to relax in both indoors and out. Our host arranged us drivers to see both the dahshur pyramid site as well as a second trip to the step pyramid, we came back to the villa between trips out to relax. I particularly enjoyed relaxing in the garden, and showing my son countywide life in Egypt. Unfortunately we were on a tight schedule due to short school holidays or I would have been happy to relax here longer.

Summary: Countryside relaxation with views of 3 pyramids, a welcome change of pace from Giza.

Positive: Lovely peaceful location, very friendly & helpful staff, good food. Also good location to visit the nearby pyramids on foot (40min one way) or the palm tree farming (very close)

Negative: Inside the building it can get a bit coolish during the winter months (our visit was beginning of March), but I think there maybe is the option for heating with AC or even a fireplace?

Positive: We loved the beautiful garden , the friendly people and the cuddly dog who is guarding the house responsibly. Seeing the pyramids and lush palm trees from the terrace in the morning was absolutely amazing , the house itself is also very beautifully designed and you will probably not find a place that is more quiet around kairo. The food was great and the people who take care of the place are very welcoming and helpful.

Negative: The place is pretty far off everything and it is a bit difficult to get there .. taxi/Uber drivers often declined going there or demanded very high prices (for Egyptian price level). Getting away from the place is also difficult at times because there is no Uber. The host organizes Transport for you but it is a bit more expensive than Egyptian average and Uber.
