Positive: We had the family room, so had a lot of space, fridge, toaster oven, microwave, small sink, full bathroom, lots of sitting space on 2 couches around tv. Separate bedroom with comfortable bed. Nice sized dining area.

Negative: The stairs up to the second floor where our room was located were difficult for us seniors. Lugging the cooler and suitcases was a chore. The owner offered to help which was kind of him. The a/c was fair in the main living area, could probably use another unit there. The ceiling fan in living area was powerful. It was quite hot when we arrived, so it may be fine if not in the 90’s. Would be nice to have a cooktop and some cookware, dishes, utensils, some dish towels and a new sponge.

Summary: Nice spot, very clean, no bad smells, owner was available and helpful. Easy in and out, parking out front.

Positive: Family suite is extremely large for groups including entire bar and dining room. Jr was extremely friendly and very helpful.

Positive: I paid $67 / nite, so I didn't expect the Ritz. I needed a clean, pet friendly room to go mountain biking at Jake's Rocks. This was perfect. No unnecessary frills but it had the necessities. The guy who runs it is very friendly and responsive. I loved that he gave me a blanket for my dog and, when I unfolded it, it had a huge image of the Virgin Mary on it! 😆 and one night this creepy early 50s Pontiac hearse parked next to me 💀🤷 Could I nit-pick? Absolutely - but not for what I was paying. As an aside - Jake's Rocks was GREAT.

Negative: I mean, it's no beauty from the road. It's time to get rid of the two broken Caddy's out front. It's 30 minutes to Jake's Rocks, so it's not super-close. But, frankly, there's nothing much closer.
