This picturesque village, of medieval origin, among all the hamlets that make up Verbania is famous for its quaint old town with lakefront, recently enriched with trendy clubs (bars, restaurants, pubs, etc.).
You can choose the nearby free beach with green lawn and sand where you can sunbathe, equipped with a bar-restaurant (with excellent pizzas), or have fun in the public swimming pool directly overlooking the lake.
In 10 minutes on foot you can reach Pallanza where you can take the boat to visit the Borromean Islands and where the market takes place on Friday mornings. In the public car park in the center of the town of Suna (Via Contardo Ferrini) there is a charging station for electric cars.
A long walk of 2 Km. Summary: We had the room with garden so somewhere to sit out. Our apartment was clean and well equipped, Loredana met us with a command of English that greatly embarrassed my attempts at Italian was very welcoming and informative.even apologised for one morning of rain as if this was her fault! Easy access to ferry at pallanza and walking distance to a choice of restaurants. Would thoroughly recommend this property.

Summary: Great apartment, 200m from lake front, 150m from supermarket and 1klm from main town of pallanza with many shops, restaurants, and ferry terminal to get to stresa isola boromeos etc. suna is the little town where the apartment is,it has its own restaurants and shops,and 2 beaches, and its a lovely short stroll along the promenade pallanza. We went by alibus from malpenza cost us 15 euros each, it drops you at suna bus stop which is 200m from apartment, pre book you ticket on alibus web site print off booking slip then you pay cash on the bus i would advise this in high season,this bus service stops on 30 sept therefore we walked to pallanza got boat to stresa ,theres a train station 200 metres from lake front, train to Galarate, and caught the the SACO bus just outside Gallarate station to malpenza it cost us less than the 15 euros on alibus !! The apartment was spotless it had a liitle garden and chairs,position is Quiet but so near to everything.But the best thing was Loredana the owner she was so helpful and kind and offered to drive us to stresa or intra for our journey home. Thankyou Loredana
