Positive: Great little flat in a quiet residential area, 10 min walk from the lifts up to the centre of town. The host was lovely and provided a trolley with breakast items, tea, and coffee. Off street parking was a bonus.

Negative: The only problem we had was that our universal adapters did not fit any of the sockets due to the flat having older electrics, so we had to buy new adapters from a local store.

Negative: The location is not convenient. Well down the side of the mountain, and far from anything needed, it is both far away and far below for the elderly, pedestrians, or the infirm.

Positive: The flat is full of character with some original and some restored features. It is spacious, comfortable, with a full kitchen and a small balcony. It is in a quiet side street with easy access to the old city center -- walk (up) a bit then take the elevators. Friendly people.

Negative: There was nothing wrong. I would have liked a microwave and an English TV channel, but these are luxury extras. San Marino is built on a mountain so be prepared to walk on steep slopes and steps (up and down).
