This completely updated home on the highly sought after Upper Colorado Arm of Lake LBJ is perfect for your next vacation. It is sitting on a sloping lot with 147 feet of waterfront, beautiful natural granite outcroppings, and fantastic lake views from the large back porch outfitted with a gas grill and outdoor seating. The boat dock features a covered boat lift (rated up to 4000 lbs), as well as a swim/fish platform and two complimentary kayaks to use.
Arva’s Retreat is located just minutes from Perisso's Winery and Inks Lake State Park, where you can enjoy hiking, geocaching, boating, scuba diving, fishing, water skiing, and more!
THINGS TO KNOW
The boat launch/ramp is located at Heart of Texas Resort at 408 Clen Oak Parkway, Burnet Tx 78611. They will charge a $20 fee to use the boat ramp.
This home is not available for events such as bachelor parties, fantasy football drafts, prom weekend parties or senior graduation parties.
The jet skis and jet ski lifts are not available for guest use.
Due to the Hill Country location of our rentals, you may encounter situations with wildlife/pests. Please be aware of your surroundings, take caution while driving at night and supervise your children at all times while outdoors. In addition, all properties do utilize pest control maintenance on a regular basis, BUT this does not guarantee pests/bugs/critters will not be visible.

Summary: Nice place if you’re looking for simplicity and comfort. Great location. Semi-isolated. WiFi and phone service was an issue but every thing else was just what we were looking for.

Summary: Size was just right for 2 elderly parents and family of 4. We loved being right on the water. Slope down to the water was tricky for my father but stairs and railing were a plus! Read reviews regarding having issues with grass burrs; yes they're everywhere but it's nothing new to us. Kids asked to stray here again and probably would without our older parents.

Summary: We loved this place! I especially loved the granite uplifts on the property, very grounding! We stayed and played outside a lot. It was so private. When we were inside we loved the recliners in front of the TV, it was perfect for football watching! I would definitely return!

Summary: My wife and I enjoyed the peace and quiet of this property. It’s up on a hill and has access to the Colorado River. We could walk down the hill to the pier and fish. Several times there were some deer that came into the yard. We could even hear birds singing. It has a nice big open area to watch tv and relax. One of the bathrooms has a great walk-in glass shower. Overall our stay was pleasant and relaxing.

Summary: The home was quaint, nice and clean. Everything in the house was great. Loved the sunsets and it's quiet and peaceful. BUT...If you have a child or animal with you, the sand spurs are outrageous. Getting up and down to the dock might be a challenge for younger or older folks, especially at night. The porch and dock need a power wash badly. Bring your own chairs and Kleenex. I swear that Vacasa in Spanish means "No Kleenex".

Summary: You need to remove boat lift as an amenity _ it is inop and obviously been inop for a time Pans dirty- old coffee maker that barely works and takes forever to brew- back patio dirty and furniture full of spider webs- yard needs mowing and trimming- lot of money for a place that is borderline shabby

Summary: The house is updated nicely with very nice appliances. The beds are comfortable. It was clean, however more odds and ends could be available in the kitchen. Bring your own kleenex, and potholders if you plan on using the oven. So many deer! We loved seeing the deer multiple times per day. One morning about 50 geese were snacking on the lawn between the house and the river. If you bring a dog, the yard, front and back, has lots of stickers/sand burs so be careful. This area of Texas has scorpions so don't hang outside at night if they make you squeamish.
