There’s nothing like a relaxing day by the beach to soak up all your worries. Just closing your eyes and imagining the soft sand caressing your toes as gentle waves lap the shore and the sun shines warmly down is enough to bring about a feeling of tranquillity.

The apartment offers comfortable living on 80 sqm for families of up to five people. As we have considered all our guests' requirements, we can not offer a full oven due to legal limitations. But besides this, we have free wifi and Netflix television, a piano if you can play, and lots of board games if you are not the tele type. If baking or roasting is a must, well, the hosts live on the property and might be willing to help.
When you’re not sipping and sizzling in your private outdoor area, the nearby Coast shopping precinct with the Fresh Choice Supermarket, ‘Good Home’ Gastro Bar and ‘Pearl Kitchen’ provides all the essentials, your caffeine fix or a nice outing to meet the locals all within 10 minutes walking.
Bayfair and Papamoa Plaza shopping centres are both within a 5-minute driving distance and on a good day, you can make it to Tauranga Centre or the base of Mount Maunganui in less than 20 minutes. Our apartment is also within easy reach of the public bus system.

Summary: This beach house was close enough to the water that waves cooed us to sleep. Great spot close enough to towns and only a block away from a grocery store. Lars suggested local activities for our whole group that made the stay enjoyable. He was friendly in passing and close by in case anything happened, luckily everything went smoothly at his wonderful abode. Thank you so much for having us.

Summary: Lars was a good host. We loved the beach getaway vibe of his bach, which was consistently themed throughout the entire property. It is extremely well thought out. Aside from its aesthetics, Lars was keen on the details and was a gracious host. He had some chocolate on our bed and had turned on the heater before we arrived. The place is also strategically located, just a few steps away from Papamoa Beach and nearby eateries.
