Summary: Sunrise Pines is a lake front property in a beautiful part of Nova Scotia. The listing is perfectly described, the communication process with both the owner and the property manager were simple, direct and easy and we enjoyed our time very much there. It is isolated, quiet and peaceful, and we got to see many stars in the sky. All in all, I loved our stay and will certainly be back,

Summary: This cottage is absolutely beautiful. The lakefront was so relaxing and the cottage itself was cozy and well kept. Great communication with the owner who made our stay a wonderful experience. Would definitely recommend. It was the perfect getaway!

Summary: No wifi, host very picky ( cleanless when leaving the house). Wanted to charge extra 30$ for extra cleaning wich was nonsense.

Summary: Our stay was just what we were looking for! A quiet serene setting on the lake with nobody around us! Perfect for a much needed getaway! All we heard was the ripples of the lake the loons and the frogs. Just beautiful!

Summary: This little cottage is a nice gateaway from your everyday life. Surrounded by woods and with a stunning view over the adjacent lake . The cottage was well equipped, the beds were comfortable and the shower was hot. The only thing we had to complain about was the fireplace. Although the cottage has electrical heating and it was always warm enough, it was a bit dissapointing to hear at our arrival that the fireplace is out of work ("because oft different reasons") and isn't allowed to use. When we searched for a holiday home , the mentioned fireplace was a big point for booking this cottage. The hand over and return oft the cottage was friendly and uncomplicated.

Summary: Beautiful property and centrally located in Nova Scotia. Housekeeper is very friendly and accessible if anything is needed. Owners are easy to reach if needed as well. Cabin is also very secure with cameras around the property. Highly recommended!

Summary: Sunrise Pines is a well equipped cottage on beautiful Shingle Lake. The cottage is perfect for exploring seaside towns, inland rolling hills, wilderness areas like Kejimkujik National Parks or simply relaxing on the lake. The excellent hostess and communication made our stay easy.

Summary: The cabin itself is really nice,super clean and comfortable. The only thing we missed were reading lights in the bedrooms,but the house seems very new and that will probably be fixed in the future. The location and view is wonderful,very quiet and away from it all. Which brings me to the „but“. We cherish being by ourselves with the privacy such a location brings. So the idea of being on camera when enjoying the deck is not my cup of tea. Also, the arrival and check out times are very restrictive. Being threatened with a fine for being late and having the choice between 8 am or 3 pm checkout is very inconvenient. A lock box for the key would be an easy solution. And it would be much easier to pay the security deposit with the credit card transaction instead of cash. Were it not for these problems,I would have given the property five stars. The local manager was very friendly and helpful.

Summary: We enjoyed the new built, beautiful log cottage in a beautiful surrounding. It was so peaceful and the lake just a view steps from the deck. We loved to swim, to do canoe tours and to have barbecues in the evenings. We loved to look at millions of stars at night. It was great! The cottage provides all you need for your vacation and is equiped charmingly. The owner was very nice and the housekeeper welcomed us warmly. Summary: What a great location, stunning views of the lake, the silence, only disrupted by sound of nature and what a house! absolutely amazing! Nice and spacious, everything you need is there, even a washing machine and dryer and some cooking supplies, left behind by previous tenants. Stayed in October 2017
