Positive: Best stay ever! Raven's Nest, and its host Andrea exceeded my hopes and expectations. The forest and bay views make this place so special. I was traveling through and booked very late, arrived to the guest suite exhausted and was so happy to land in such a warm, peaceful, inviting, beautifully decorated space. The bed was SO comfortable, nice linens, excellent kitchenette. The nighttime silence was a feature unto itself. The host reached out to make sure I had what I needed and to provide local recommendations. Highly recommend!

Positive: It’s all good at Ravens Nest. Comfortable, quiet, with a lot of windows for good views of mostly BIG trees. Actually, if it’s clear you can see a sliver of Alexander Von Humboldt Bay. Everything works fine and there is easy parking. Arcata is 5 minutes, Eureka is 12 minutes, and Trinidad is about 20 minutes. Highlights of the area for us was hiking the Arcata Community Forest, food at Campground Restaurant, and the North Coast Co-op Arcata market has everything. No crowds, no traffic, laid back atmosphere, and long, long deserted beach walks. Enjoy!

Negative: It was all good with no problems at all.

Summary: This may be the best place to stay on the Humboldt Coast.

Positive: Well kept and nicely appointed. Comfortable bed. Checked in to make sure everything was good, refilled coffee.Very quiet!

Negative: Lots of stairs, coffee downstairs without a water source. Futon was not as comfortable as hoped to watch TV. Parking on street (readily available).

Summary: Quiet neighborhood, bed comfortable, off street parking with stairs.
