Positive: First of all the host is super friendly and hospitable, we felt really welcome. The location is great: you can walk to several caves, to the boats going to the Rammang village, and an area with nice Karst formation is around the corner. There are also a couple cafes and restaurants nearby with excellent views. The rooms and facilities are very basic, for us it was ok, but it's good to set expectations accordingly.

Negative: There was not much seating available, some comfortable chairs or a hammock would be a nice addition.

Positive: The host is very friendly and welcoming. Peaceful location next to fields and fish pools. Simple rooms and shared facilities. Dinner was great. This is a simple, lovely homestay but one of our favourite stays.

Positive: The family is so nice! The view is beautiful. It's basic but you know that when you are booking it. The bed was very comfy. The food was good. I rented a scooter for the day! They arranged a boot trip to the village. Everything goes very easy.

Negative: Grab doesn't work. There is a train station (7 min by car) but then you need to buy tickets early in the morning. It only goes twice a day. So the family called someone. Which was pretty expensive cause I shared it with a whole family while it was still more expensive then grab. But that's okay. Just saying so you know that there are not a lot of options to go back.

Positive: The family is absolutely beautiful, you can feel the sense of community since there are people all the time at the place. Kids playing, adults meeting. We loved to see that. Room was comfortable, we could also do a late check out. Nahar took us to really nice places and Jesse looked after us, always willing to help.

Negative: The shared bathroom with the kitchen. They wash the dishes at the same bathroom and shower which is not hygiene.

Positive: The homestay is basic but the family was so warmhearth and welcoming and we loved to stay with them. The house is under renovation and soon also the facilities will be improved. The balcony was finished during our stay so now it's possible to relax there with a beautiful view over the rice fields. Yessi is a wonderful cook. If someone has time it's also possible to teach English to the kids of the village, Yessi can arrange it. Yessi and her husband Nahar were also very helpful by picking us up from the airport and helping us to buy the bus tickets to our next destination. The communication before our arrival was excellent. Wish you all the best lovely family, hope to see you again in the future!
