Situated on a farm in the beautiful village of Georgeham near Braunton in North Devon, Rafters Lodge offers luxurious accommodation in a wonderful countryside setting.
Step inside and you'll discover a stylish interior with stunning décor highlighted by floor to ceiling glass panels that showcase the rolling fields beyond.
A large master bedroom with its king size bed provides a sumptuous retreat from the outside world and the en-suite bathroom which is beautifully designed has a walk-in shower and a huge bath – perfect for a long, relaxing soak.
At the centre of the home is a lovely, well-equipped open-plan kitchen – ideal for home cooking; and with so much excellent local produce available in the area you'll be eager to whip up a few Devonshire inspired creations.
To the front of the lodge there's a decked patio where you'll discover a bubbling, private hot tub tucked away under the eaves - the best place from which to soak up the tranquil atmosphere and completely unwind, whatever the weather.
Rafters welcomes pets and has an enclosed garden to the rear so your four-legged friends get their own space, and the wonderful dog-friendly beaches of Saunton and Woolacombe are just a short drive away.
2 pets allowed, a fixed fee of £25 per dog for a short stay of 2-4 night stays and £40 per dog for a 7+ night stay is chargeable, in line with our house rules we do ask that pets are not left alone in the property, do not use the furniture or go in the bedroom areas.

Summary: Fabulous well equiped property in superb location. The lodge has everything you could possibly need and the hot tub was amazing. A great place for exploring the surrounding countyside with two brilliant pubs within walking distance. We will definitely return.

Summary: Loved the stay here as did our dog! Nice touch of Prosecco and milk in the fridge on arrival. Hot tub and garden a key selling point for this place. Cleanliness was perfect. The bathroom overall is beautiful. Bed super comfy, no noise and pitch black at night-bliss for sleep. The accommodation is perfectly warm and very cosy at night. Great location, two lovely pubs in Georgeham (Kings Arms the favourite). Walkable to Croyde also. Thanks so much!

Summary: Everything we were hoping for. A complete get away from the rat race. Two fantastic pubs which serve great food 10 minutes walk away. And the best bit is sitting in the hot tub under the stars even in January. We loved our time there.

Summary: We have the most amazing and relaxing time at our lodge. Loved all the little extras provided dog treats, milk and Prosecco. Couldn’t recommend this lodge enough, made all our worries disappear and we will definitely will be staying again. So lovely to have the dogs relaxing with us, the owners couldn’t be more helpful.
