Positive: Everything! The location was exquisite and every detail had been thought about with care. The wine, the food, and above all, the staff, were all top notch. There may be other hotels in the area but I can’t imagine any of them surpassing Quinta de S. Bernardo.

Negative: I can’t think of a thing.

Summary: 3 days in heaven with wonder meals, massages, and an terrified boat ride on the Douro.

Positive: This property is exquisite! You feel like you are in a different world. The architecture and the overall design is absolutely beautiful. The grounds are gorgeous and it’s kept very clean. There’s so much to do and the different rooms for activities makes you feel at home. And most importantly, the STAFF! Talk about going above and beyond for anything your heart desires! Extremely warm and welcoming! And the food and wine was some of the best I have ever experienced.

Positive: This was an experience we will never forget! Truly one of the best places we've ever stayed, anywhere. Stunning property, inside and out. The staff was the best! Very inviting, professional, and friendly. Everyone knew our names, remembered what we liked, and were very accommodating. Enjoyed their wine tasting and highly suggest doing a private tasting tour with Ricardo. Cannot recommend enough!

Positive: This place is absolutely magical. The property is stunning, but it's the character of the place and the vibe that made it special to me. You feel pampered and in a luxury environment without it being stuffy. You can casually meander down to the river and grab a kayak, take some yoga mats to the deck, or take bikes out and head to the nearest vineyard. Plus excellent food, service, and views. They got all of the details just right.
