Summary: Our group of 17 very much enjoyed this beautiful property and the warm hospitality from Rui and Elizabeta. The children loved the indoor and outdoor pools and games (ping pong, pool, foosball) and it was great to have delicious dinners arranged a few times during our week's stay.

Summary: Our group of 12 enjoyed the spacious relaxing setting of the Douro Country House, Quinta da Cabanas for a week. The views are unparalleled and the amenities were terrific. We enjoyed great dinners prepared by our hostess Elizabet and Rui our host was extremely helpful and made sure our stay was perfect. The house is equipped with everything you need to enjoy cooking, games, hikes, spa living. We shopped a bit in the local village and enjoyed tours we had a ranged to visit Porto and to do wine tastings. A car could be helpful as the location is relaxingly remote but we made due with the local taxi and support from our tours. The house has amazingly modern systems despite the country setting. We loved hanging by the pool and dining outside. Great place and lovely hosts.

Summary: I stayed in this villa with a group of 14 friends for 6 nights and we enjoyed every second of it. The villa itself was absolutely gorgeous and the views were amazing. Rui, the host, was absolutely excellent- he helped us with every query we had within minutes and was lovely to communicate with. All around a fantastic trip and I cant wait to revisit.
