Summary: The garden with pool is lovely and many great outdoor spaces. The house is a combination of rustic and modern. Older part of house has charm whereas the new areas have large windows, and remodeled bathrooms. Marcos did a fantastic job communicating with us and gave outstanding info on stores, restaurants and activities. A car is required and about an hour away from the beginning of the Douro valley wine region.

Summary: Stunning views and great location. Beautiful home and grounds. Lots of nearby restaurants and a Super Mercado. Marcos was a great host. Very good communication, and his welcome information package was very useful and detailed. The home was well equipped and although there were only 4 of us, it obviously can handle large groups. Summary: There are no houses visible on this side of the river. The view to the other side is incredible. The location is quiet and peaceful. The owner was very accommodating and any of our needs were met quickly. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a beautify place to stay in the valley.

Summary: Amazing view and lovely quiet area. We found a couple of local restaurants with delicious home cooked food and really cheap! Lovely local boat trips, we went twice. Marcos was really good at communicating and the property is big and well equipped.

Summary: We really loved the deck overlooking the river. Nice fresh air and a great place to hang with friends. We took lots of day trips from here and Marcos was great about sharing restaurant ideaa with us. Would stay again.
