Positive: We had a wonderful stay. The views you have from the Douro river are stunning. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable. Breakfast was good and the dinner options they offered were also excellent. Finally, and most important, the wines produced there are really good.

Positive: This was amazing!! Our best stay in Portugal. Loved it. Make sure you do a tour, taste the port and have the dinner option. Breakfast was yummy too. Walking around the vines was great. We ended up taking with all the other guests having a glass of wine. So great!

Positive: Absolutely beautiful property, the staff were amazing particularly Guilherme who was so helpful and friendly in making sure everything we needed and wanted was in place for us. The wine tour was excellent, the tasting was excellent and the pool was the stuff dreams are made of! The local food we had for dinner especially the tomatoes and the boar were excellent, we couldn’t recommend enough!

Negative: The road in was a bit hairy but once you were there the feelings melted away within seconds

Positive: Everything. Fantastic views. Good food. Very few guests. Telmo was a perfect host in this small hotel. He felt like that film the Night Manager. Also had a wonderful 2 hour tasting with him. Perfect.

Positive: Luis and Mathias were so kind and helpful. The entire staff was exceptional. The property is absolutely gorgeous. It was the most beautiful place I’ve ever stayed. The breakfast was amazing. We also ordered dinner one night and a charcuterie board the other night which were also delicious and very helpful to have as an option. Their port and wines are exceptional! I hope to go back. Loved it!
