Summary: We had a great time staying at the home while moving our daughter to college at LTCC to play soccer. I thought the house would be far away but we loved the location and would stay here again. Comfy beds, nice upstairs bathtub to relax in. Deck needs updating but overall we loved our stay and will be back!

Summary: The family loved the place.

Summary: This property was disappointing. Overall cleanliness was not great. Dishes had dirt and coffee stains, and it was stocked with the BARE minimum for kitchen supplies. The dishwasher smelled like mildew, and the Keurig coffee maker came with 3 coffee pods. The downstairs bathroom walls have mold due to ZERO ventilation because there is no fan, not to mention it's a known health hazard. The floors appeared dirty, and we made sure to have socks on at all times. The mattresses were the most uncomfortable I have ever slept on; my husband said a spring poked him in the back all night, and the pillows were flat and very uncomfortable. The hot tub was empty and looked disgusting. I am aware it wasn't advertised, BUT the pictures show rolled towels by the back slider, and they are still there. It is misleading but not the end of the world. The advertised games were minimal and several years old, missing game pieces. The property is very old, run-down, and needs some work. It just felt "grungy" and dirty. I would say the nicest part was that it was quiet and peaceful. Considering we could have booked a home for a very minimal price increase, this just wasn't worth it.

Summary: The check-in process was smooth, and the management company provided enough information.Unfortunately, the house cleaning is a disaster, and the upper-floor bathroom is inconvenient. We found snacks on the sofa, hair on the upstairs bed, and tableware. When we had just checked in, bugs were on the kitchen and kitchen paper. The management company responded quickly and tried to solve the problem, but as rental housing, it shouldn't have happened at the beginning.

Summary: My recent stay at this cabin was disappointing on multiple levels, falling far short of expectations. The accommodation is extremely bare bones. The kitchen lacked even basic pantry essentials, offering only sugar and decaf coffee - not helpful for cooking. While the cabin was mostly clean, we were horrified to discover a dead mouse in the loft area. Several functional issues made our stay uncomfortable: - Both upstairs bathroom doors don't fully close - There is only a bathtub upstairs, no shower option - The trundle bed was broken - Bathrooms have no ventilation fans The listing advertised accommodation for 6 people, but after booking I was informed the maximum occupancy was actually only 4. This created significant problems for our trip planning. Most disappointing was the "hot tub" situation. This amenity was prominently featured in the listing and influenced my booking decision. Upon arrival, we found it empty and filled with mold - clearly unused and unmaintained for some time. Overall, the reality of this property significantly differed from its description. I cannot recommend it based on our experience.

Summary: Very quiet neighborhood, nothing behind the place but forest and towering mountains. Hearing/seeing the coyotes really made for a cool experience. Secluded and peaceful. Comfortable and close to amenities in the town of Meyers.

Summary: Highly recommend to the family who has more than three young kids and doesn’t want to spend more, and not clean sensitive, book this house. My 9yr old daughter, 6yr old son and 4yr old young daughter enjoyed this house very much. They had a lot of fun and had two good sleeps in it. However, as experienced adault, like my husband, he saw the lack of quality of it. I saw the old and update-need of it, too. Good location, good neighbors.
Dale S. Oct 11, 2024 09:21:33 PM
Summary: We kayaked on Echo Lake, visited Taylor Creek, and ate at a great pub in South Lake Tahoe. The house was central to what we wanted to do.

Summary: The setting was peaceful.
