Positive: Thew host Sherif was amazing and extremely accommodating to requests... he even met us 4am on our arrival to help with check in! The apartment is very comfortable, and has most of what you'll need to for a medium to long stay, like pans, pots, crockery, etc

Negative: Not that I didn't like it, but it is situated in a bit of a run down part of town so I'm just mentioning it. It is still completely safe, and has shops and the beach just around the corner. I liked the authenticity of the neighborhood, and you will too if you want to have a genuinely Egyptian experience

Positive: The apartment was very clean, spacious, and well-equipped. The balcony offered a beautiful sea view, which added charm to the entire stay. The owner was extremely kind and helpful. He spoke excellent English and had extensive knowledge about Alexandria, which he gladly shared during a private tour of the city. I highly recommend this place for an unforgettable stay!

Positive: Sherif, the host, was wonderful, from start to finish. He was so kind and accommodating and made our stay enjoyable. The apartment was clean and was a perfect size for our family of three. For the price, the apartment was unbeatable and adequately met our family's needs.

Negative: The only A/C is in the living room area so the bedrooms get a little hot during summer. There are fans, along with the breeze from the ocean, to help keep cool (which was enough for us during our stay at the beginning of summer), but it might be a little toasty during the hottest summer months. Also, the bathtub/shower is a little small, but again, you cannot beat the apartment for the price.

Positive: Amazing!! The location and the apartment were fantastic, and the owner Sherif was super kind and helpful. He gave us all the recommendations for the places to go to in Alexandria, and the local fish shop was super good and we went there two times in a day haha. He also helped us book the bus which saved our lives. Thank you and we hope to see you again sometime!! :)

Positive: The host was amazing, making sure we had everything we needed and helping us without wanting to sell us tours or anything. As in not taking up to overpriced paces to make a commission. We felt safe and comfortable and we were in walking distance of many things. Shariff's hospitality makes up for any shortcomings. The wifi worked great and was the best we had during our month in Egypt.

Negative: The neighborhood is noisy, but it quiets down early except for the dogs and cats. But they are all over Egypt.

Positive: Very close to Qaitbay Citadel and many restaurants nearby. There is a tram downstairs that goes directly downtown, but the schedule was a myth. No problem to get back from downtown by it. Sherif, the host was very helpful and thoughtful. I went to four of the six restaurants he recommended, very nice to try what food local people have. Space is big enough for a family.

Negative: A bit cold in winter without heating.
