Welcome to the Puffin Pod at Sally's Brook Wilderness Cabins in beautiful Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. You will be staying in one of our cozy sleeping pods with a living area and bedroom and views to St. Ann's Bay. We are an eco-friendly off-grid retreat where the separate kitchen building and bathroom buildings are fully stocked with essential items to make your stay special. Our bathrooms have large showers and separate spaces for each visitor. A relaxing place to stay. Please note that our cabins are a 5-minute hike on a forest path up the hill from the parking area. Summary: I only stayed here for one night, but it was a very peaceful stay. The location was perfect for a view of the sunset. Unfortunately the night I was there was too cloudy to see it, but the stay was still worth everything else. The room and amenities were very well kept and cozy to stay in. I even walked a short trail that led to a brook (Sally’s Brook) that I don’t think had another access point. I would love to stay here again.

Summary: Great location: next to Cabot trail, and close to "civilization" of North Sydney, 20 minutes walk from Puffin boat tour, 5 minutes from a shore of St. Anne bay. Cozy cabins, sauna on site, convenient kitchen, internet and mobile coverage (which can be an issue in many other areas). Very helpful owner and site manager. Recommend for anyone who want to explore this part of Cape Breton for few days.
