Positive: Owners and staff were lovely people. Very clean. Enjoyed sitting on the screen porch and communing with the hummingbirds. 😊

Negative: From a value perspective, it was the most expensive of our travels around Nova Scotia and PEI.

Positive: Holger, the inn keeper was friendly and witty and his friendly wife does well in the kitchen! Beds were extremely comfortable, room was very small. The Inn had confortable places to sit and read inside and on the enclosed porch. Given there are no restaurants near by, we had their 4 course dinner one night. While each course was tasty, we thought it was a bit pricey.

Positive: What is there not to like? The place looks like it just sprang out from a fairy-tale book; it is perfectly located; every tiny little detail is taken care of and yet it remains homely. The owners are charming and go out of their way to assist. We could not dine there because, silly me, I did not read till the end of the confirmation email, which specified that advanced booking was required for the restaurant. And so we missed out on a gourmet dinner. So, future guests, do read the email till the end.

Negative: Frankly, I cannot think of anything.

Summary: Homely, beautiful and friendly.

Positive: Our stay was lovely. The owners went out of their way to be helpful and accommodating. Our room was very pleasant and comfortable and breakfast every morning was great. We highly recommend the Chanterelle Inn.
