Villa Bruna is historic property with a swimming pool and is a rare find within walking distance to the Old Town. The date of built is not known exactly, but it is known that its life began before 1667, or date of great earthquake. It is protected by Croatian Organization for Heritage and Protection.
This stone built villa is surrounded and hidden by stone walls, high fences and electric gates featuring protection and privacy. And yet it is located in a centre of Dubrovnik within 10 minutes walking distance to old town. For this reason our villa offers not only quite holidays but a chance to discover the charm of Dubrovnik and to peek into its very rich history.
Our villa has no steps between road/parking and its ground floor which will give easy access if your mobility is limited.
It is located in a beautiful garden, decorated with passion, surrounded by olive and citrus trees, palms and colourful flowers and a large heated swimming pool with sun loungers and chairs. You could easily spend your entire stay on the grounds of this historical villa, but if you have a need to explore, the Old Town is just a 10 minute walk away.
On the ground floor of this 210m2 villa there are living room, kitchen, half bathroom (toilet only), and a master bedroom with en suite bathroom with shower and fireplace. All rooms have air conditioning and direct access to the main terrace.
On the first floor there are 5 more double bedrooms, two of which have double beds that can be separated into 2 single beds. Note that one bedroom is very small but contains normal size double bed. There are 2 full bathrooms with shower, another half bathroom, and access to a first floor terrace with table and chairs. All bedrooms have air conditioning and wardrobes.
Villa offers a spacious outdoor area with a long furnished terrace which is divided into two areas: dining area with large outside table for 12, ideal for enjoying gourmet dinners prepared on the stone BBQ inside a summer kitchen, and sitting area which invites you for relaxing, reading or just to enjoy in your favourite drink.
When you want to escape from lazy hot summer days and nights, refreshment you will find in a 10 x 4.5 meter heated swimming pool, while the pool house with bar, refrigerator and ice maker means refreshments are always within easy reach. Note that there is another toilet in the pool house and outside shower is next to the pool.

Summary: The whole experience was wonderful. The house is great. The pool and barbecue area is perfect. Location is walkable to town. Bakery just walking distance and supermarket close. Summary: Wonderful property, fantastic hosts, very warm and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble for them both before we arrived and during our stay. Pero and Rafaela were a joy to have as hosts, extremely friendly from beginning to end. The villa's pool is an oasis in the midst of a city. The villa itself is extremely well equipped and laid out. Beds a dream, we all slept like logs. Location perfect for easy access to the old town, grocery shops, and a prosecco bar with great view of the sea almost next door. We had the time of our lives and enjoyed a perfect combination of relaxing around the pool and taking advantage of the activities on offer in the fantastic town of Dubrovnik. We can't recommend the villa highly enough and wouldn't hesitate to return. Thank you Pero and Rafaela for providing us with a perfect place to relax and unwind from some otherwise busy lives! You have a gem there, we absolutely LOVED Villa Bruna!

Summary: Large Villa with plenty of space and rooms for two large families. Lovely large yard, beautiful large pool. The hosts were very accommodating and were gracious to stock the kitchen (we paid, of course). Very close to all the places you want to explore!

Summary: A beautiful home, in a great location. We walked to 90% of our restaurants, etc. Know there are stairs involved anyplace in Dubrovnik. Home is in excellent condition, very clean, everything worked. Pero and Rafaela were great to work with. Thank you!

Summary: Top notch from the moment We started the booking process till we left. We loved everything about this wonderful property, especially the outside area. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool, eating outside, and the wonderful seating area. We really appreciated the little touches from the fruit and wine that we’re waiting upon arrival to not having to buy laundry detergent and other basic necessities. Highly recommend this house for your stay. We loved our visit!!

Summary: What can I say…this place is a touch of class, pure and simple! After traveling for 2 weeks throughout Croatia, our group was tired by the time we got to Dubrovnik and this place was truly a relaxing place…so relaxing we didn’t leave the villa for 2 days and as a result didn’t get to see Dubrovnik as much as we would have liked!! Lol. Only improvement I can think of would be the bedsheets could have been softer…thus if that’s my only complaint you know this place is worth checking out! Thanks Pero for the amazing stay!

Summary: Our group of 4 couples absolutely loved this house. It was clean, airy, and comfortable. AC worked well. Pool was perfect, and the out door spaces under the grape arbors were great to sit under after a day of exploring the old town. There is a little noise from the nearby road, but the house is so well constructed you don't hear it inside. Highly recommend!

Summary: The Old Town is beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed our time wandering the streets. It pays to get off the beaten track if you want it a little less crowded. The cable car is a must, as is Lokrum. Bruna Villa is everything it says it is and although there will always be an element of uncertainty when booking it took just moments to realise we had chosen well. Rafaela was on hand to welcome us and the week went like clockwork. We were not disappointed in any way.

Summary: Had a group of 10 ladies staying here for 4 nights in this villa. We had an amazing time, everything about the villa is fantastic. 10 mins walk to the main old town.
