Summary: Our family had ages 19 months - 65 and we all found something to enjoy. The kids really liked the "hidden" room where they could "cook" for us. The adults enjoyed the hot tub, and we ALL enjoyed the LARGE table and the recliners. Thanks for sharing your home with us :)

Summary: Basswood Lane was an amazing stay! We visited Galena and stayed at this home, which absolutely met all of our needs. When it came to the cleanliness and all the amenities, the house has to offer. It was a perfect home for all of our families. Downtown is a 15 minute drive and close to a bunch of shops and eatery in town. Weather came to the hot tub, the movie theater room or the amazing dining room table. All we did was laugh and enjoy our time at this house. Such a cool spot. All of our kids loved it and we created some great memories this weekend thank you for letting us stay at your home and I 10 out of 10. Recommend this house. PS this was also one of the first houses that I have ever been to that legit had everything that you have at your own home. Pots pans, utensils, you name it this house had it. Look forward to staying here again in the future.

There were three families, all with small children and we did not feel short on space at any moment during our stay! There was plenty for all the kids to do, and space for the adults to be away from children while they were sleeping. The game room was super fun for everyone and the playroom under the stairs was so fun for our children of varying ages! We super appreciated the large enough table to be able to fit all of our guests and all of the accommodations made for even our littlest group member. Linda was very helpful during our stay and answered questions promptly. We had a wonderful experience and stay at Timber Ridge and would absolutely stay again!

Reviewer Comments: Timber Ridge was the perfect setting for our family reunion of 11 adults to have conversations and lots of laughs We all could sit around together in the living room in front of the fire place. We all fit around the dining room table. We all fit on the patio deck at the same time. We each had a real bed and woke up comfortably refreshed. Plenty of bathrooms. The decor was homey. We cooked and ate most every meal from the well equipped kitchen. The beautiful golf course was down the street and the interesting street of shops in Galena was a short drive. We would stay again in this beautiful treetops setting, in a heartbeat.

Reviewer Comments: This was the first time my parents, sisters and I have been together on vacation in almost 40 years, and Timber Ridge proved to be the perfect property for our group.The home is nestled in the woods at the back of a private cul-de-sac providing a serene, peaceful setting for gatherings. The rooms are clean and inviting and the furnishings are comfortable. The kids loved the lower level, with the bunk house, theater room, and easy access to the hot tub. The game room next to the garage was a great escape for the younger kids too! If I had to post any negatives, it would be the pillows and the tub in the main floor bedroom. The pillows were flat and could probably use replacing, and the tub has a slow drain so my wife and I were standing in 2" of water after every shower. Small issues to be sure, but worth noting.We would certainly return to Timber Ridge in the future and recommend this property to anyone looking for a property to accommodate a large group.
