Positive: The property and the owner were very welcoming. The location allowed our children to move around freely and entertain themselves with or without us. Even though the owner didn’t speak English he was very warm and very communicative and it was between cows walking freely and a restaurant so you get the best of all worlds.

Negative: The place is old and outdated and needs a little maintenance.

Summary: Very fun and relaxing area. Totally worth the price and trust me… it’s an experience and a good one.

Positive: Dodosi as a town is lovely to visit, but Pristan Apartments/Apartmani Most really made it feel like home for the short duration that I was there! I cannot recommend it enough. I booked the hotel through booking.com, and there was a bit of friction in the booking process, but I later realized that this communication goes through an agency - not with the host directly. The host (Danijela) and her family are incredibly warm and caring people! They live in the building across the street. They made sure I had everything I needed and invited me over for coffee with the family - drinking turkish coffee, eating figs from their garden, and enjoying ice cream that Danijela's daughter brought me because I mentioned that I love ice cream! The lunch I had (10-15 euros) was an incredible feast (the picture attached is not all of it) and that one meal lasted me the whole day. Danijela cooks food for her family and shares it with the guests, and home cooked food always hits the spot. The apartment is on the edge of town and faces the nature directly so you are not obstructed by any other houses! This was awesome given that each room came with a large balcony to enjoy the view. The river is visible from your door, so you can walk over to take a swim easily. There are cows that roam the field that is all vibes. WiFi is good! Fast enough to take video calls for work. The kitchen is very well stocked for cooking. There is AC in the room, but I rarely needed it in August since leaving the balcony door open let enough of a cool breeze in the room. There is a restaurant/bar next door too if you need. There was no source of drinking water in the rooms, but luckily I had brought enough so it was not an issue for me.

Positive: The hosts provided us with fresh water and some refreshments on our very late arrival, then their parents invited us for breakfast. I love Crna Gora and the citizens! Dodosi is just great: still not a resort, still remote, and not crowded (oh, maybe it is... on Sundays). The river is great for swimming and relaxing with children, you can do some jumps from the bridge, the restaurants are not fancy, but provide good food.

Negative: Sometimes there are lacks in electricity in Dodosi.

Summary: Great Balkan style vacation: doing nothing, eating fruit, relaxing
