Photos don't do this home justice, it truly is a very special place to stay. Greeted by a large open kitchen, dining and living area with a stunning large bathroom it was both clean and tidy and felt very homely. The Homestead was a real pleasure to stay at and would thoroughly recommend this home and it's host Joanne of Bach Break New Plymouth.

Also the main toilet had awful water pressure, 1 flush per couple of hours - ended up using buckets to help!

Summary: Lovely location House is in need of a little TLC. The impressive looking bathroom lacked any water pressure for the fancy shower head and it would have been good to have a floor squeegee to mop up the water. Lounge furniture could do with an upgrade. The ripped couch didn't quite fit with the overall grandeur of the rest of the property. Was great that we could take our dog along. Host was friendly and curteous.
