Summary: Excellent property for small dogs. Roomy with well resourced kitchen and bathroom. Excellent shower.Comfy main bed but the sofa bed was not comfortable for adults (thin mattress and felt spings/frame).Given the variability of Taranaki weather (especially in winter), the property would be enhanced if there was a sheltered area outside for dogs so guests have the confidence to go out and leave their pets outside.A lower score was given for location because the property was a way out of town, however it was our choice to select this given we were looking for a securely fenced property for our two small dogs.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A modern little unit on a rural country road, with views of the mountain. It's tidy, had everything we needed, and had a fenced grass area for our dog (although the grass wasn't mowed with a catcher which meant we kept walking cut grass into the unit itself). But it's a lovely little scenic road to walk your dog along down to the local river, and only a short drive to food outlets in Waitara. You are in the direct flight path of the local airport, but that wasn't a problem for us. We did find the bed too hard for us, but otherwise the unit met our needs.

Summary: My family stayed here when we were in the process of relocating to New Plymouth. It was a lovely place to stay. The location was awesome. All the farmland and space were really relaxing. The Bach had everything you could need for a stressfree stay. And as a bonus our dogs could stay too.
