Positive: My family and I had a lovely stay right in the heart of Notting Hill—Portobello Road is as vibrant and iconic as you'd imagine. The accommodations were clean, stylish, and surprisingly quiet given the location. The property owner was incredibly responsive and communicative, which made the whole experience seamless. Being steps away from the market, cafes, and colorful storefronts made it easy to soak up the neighborhood’s charm. A perfect base for exploring West London!

Positive: Exceptional location for exploring Portobello and Ladbroke Grove. Really authentic part of London for culture and markets. Very close to the trainline (it goes right past the rear of the property). Public EV car charging on the street via lamposts - permit parking only but evenings and Sundays ok and available for charging. Clean and tidy house, very welcoming, nice decor. Not fancy but absolutely perfect IMO. Host was communicative and professional.

Negative: It’s a bit noisy if you you’re not used to trains and neighbours.

Summary: Love this accommodation. Excellent location and value for money. Comfortable and cosy. Would definitely stay again.

Positive: Key collection was easy because we only need to enter a code to a door lock. But locking and unlocking the door can be a bit tricky for someone like me who is not used to this kind of door lock, but will get used to it after few uses. Host was mostly responsive. In fact , she went the extra mile to help us receive our missing luggages when it was delivered to us from the airport, as we were not at the property or nearby when it was delivered. Thank you for being there. We stayed during a weekend so we were lucky to be able to catch the Portobello market, which is about 5 mins walk from the property. The nearest underground tube station is also about 8-10mins walk from the property. Property is generally clean and spacious, kitchen well equipped. gentle reminder for those travelling with heavy luggages or people with restricted mobility, that you have to climb up a flight of stairs from the main door to the living room and kitchen, and then another flight of stairs to the bedrooms and bathroom.

Negative: Just need to be mindful that there are neighbours downstairs so we have to be extra cautious with noises after 10pm, so we were not able to use the washing machine past that time. But i guess generally , that’s a house rule and we respect that
