Positive: A truly authentic Balinese homestay experience. Ketut, his family, and Putu are incredibly kind and attentive — they make you feel part of the village. I even extended my stay because I felt so connected here. The grounds are beautiful and well-kept, the rooms spacious and clean (with a mini fridge), and the Wi-Fi worked well for my admin tasks. When my shower broke it was fixed immediately. Laundry is also available, which was very convenient. Highlights of my stay included joining a local ceremony, visiting the school to share English with the children, a fun day trip to Gembleng Waterfall, Lahangan Sweet, and Tirta Gangga Water Palace, and even celebrating Ketut’s birthday with the family — unforgettable moments that brought everyone together. The location is inland, more jungle so expect to hear the animals and birds.. there is a warung and small shop right next door, and a supermarket and vegetable store within walking distance (although thank you Putu for the moped ride!). This is not a tourist destination. Transport in the village is limited, but Ketut does everything possible to arrange what you need and help you get around. Ketut Carman loves sharing his culture and experiences. The value for money here far exceeded my expectations for the experience I received. The only small note: the property can be a little tricky to find, so I recommend checking in during daylight hours. I left with a profound connection to this village and way of life

Positive: A unique wonderful adventure ! A chance to immerge yourself in a typical Balinese family - a family whose kindness has no limits ! - with all its ceremonies, festivities, traditions and activities. Set in a typical village, in the middle of nowhere, at the foot of Mount Agung with its temperate climate, this small haven of peace will be the pinacle of your trip to Bali. As an Indian dancer, I was touched and honoured to participate in their family ceremonies. I will always remember this rare experience.

Positive: The best place in Bali to understand the Balinese culture,the place is a compound immersed in the nature, in a small village, and all the people are very friendly.Mr Ketut Carman, the founder, has a deep knowledge of the Balinese spirituality and he is willing to share it with interested travellers.
