Positive: Verity met us at the property on arrival to show us round. Instructions leaflets available and no trouble locating all the things we needed for a pleasant stay.

Negative: Getting the top off the AGA kettle. Really, there was so little to criticise. Instructions where to drop off the key rather than us having to phone Verity would have been useful.

Positive: The property is excellent and the woods and gardens. Verity the housekeeper was so helpful and excellent. The property now has electric chargers - two and should be included in the information.

Negative: Papple Steading lies 20 minutes from the main towns of ~Dunbar and North Berwick - once we realised that on google maps if you search for papple steading ltd you will find it easily otherwise can be more difficult to find.

Positive: Enjoyable stay, the bothy was very well equipped with quality & eco conscious items. Underfloor heating was cosy and enjoyed using the AGA. Lots to do in the area, beaches, villages, castles, walks etc. Great location for star gazing too.

Positive: This is a little goldmine. The place has been decorated to a very high standard. Location is close to lots of interesting places. Staff are amazingly helpful. Some beautiful places to walk a dog in the local area. Extremely dog friendly, he even got his own welcome pack which included a bowl, a towel and poo bags. The welcome pack we received was fresh milk, eggs, tea / coffee, home made jam, cakes and chocolate.

Negative: Although we felt there could have been curtains or blinds for the living areas windows, we are assured these are in order

Summary: The most perfect little bothie for humans and doggy’s alike. Would very highly recommend this place
