The Space
You will enter Pleasant Place through the front porch where you will find outdoor seating for enjoyment during your stay. Once inside, you will find yourself in the living room featuring multiple seating options, games, and a TV. From there, you will enter the kitchen where you will find a large dining table, pantry, stocked cabinets, and a half bath including an in-unit washer & dryer. Back near the front door, you can make your way up the stairs where you will find 4 bedrooms and a full bath. 3 of the bedrooms include a mix of queen & king beds as well as a personal air conditioning unit for guests to set their ideal temperature. The final bedroom features a twin bed along with a desk and reading nook making Pleasant Place a great spot for those looking to work remote. This home features a Smart TV with streaming service and Wi-Fi.

Pleasant Place is accessed via a small flight of stairs off the front porch. All bedrooms are located on the second floor of this property which may make it difficult for handicap accommodations. • We have close neighbors older in age who enjoy this lovely neighborhood full-time. We ask that all guests respect their space and honor quiet hours in effect at 9PM each night.
• There is one security camera on the outside of our property which is meant to protect our home and our guests during their stay. We have complete respect for our guest’s privacy and do not have any cameras facing or inside of the living space.
• When renovating this home, we specifically used waterproof flooring so guests can bring their furry family members along. We do not charge extra for pets, however, do require guests to clean-up any hair or mess left behind. Failure to complete this will result in a fine for extra cleaning.

Summary: This was a perfect place for our group of 7 for our stay in Palmyra. Comfy beds, large, well-stocked kitchen, and plenty of room to relax. Our kids loved the board games. Easy drive to all of the church historical sites we came to visit. The host was very responsive when a minor problem popped up with the AC and it was quickly resolved. We did have to make sure no other water was running if someone was taking a shower. Otherwise great.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at this home. Check-in was simple, especially perfect for a late arrival. The large kitchen and living room were perfect for our group to relax and enjoy some time together. Bedroom arrangements upstairs provided space and needed privacy. Summary: The water pressure presented a big challenge. We did not run the dishwasher at all and the washing machine only once. We did not use the water for more than one thing at a time, but still the pressure was a problem. The downstairs toilet would often take a long time to fill so we could flush it and showers were sometimes only a trickle of water and even stopped completely a couple of times. But other than that we felt it was a very lovely place to stay, and would come back. The location was perfect and peaceful. Thank you for providing such a wonderful property for our lodging. It contributed to a wonderful and memorable vacation

Summary: We loved our stay at Pleasant Place. It’s been well taken care of updated. The water is a little tricky. There’s plenty of hot water but as she mentioned, you have to take turns with dishwasher washer or showering, but that was all communicated and turned out fine. I would definitely recommend this place. It was perfect for our family if 6

Summary: This was a fantastic house for our needs. Extremely clean and comfortable, with a well equipped kitchen. The owners did a great job with the renovations while honoring the uniqueness of this special older home. We loved sitting on the front porch having our morning coffee with our dogs at our feet. Neighborhood was very quiet, and our dogs loved the big back yard. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Summary: Parents and 4 young adult children, wanting to hit many of the beautiful state parks of NY. After a search of everything we wanted to hit, a radius was created with Palmyra being at the center. Very quiet town, but we enjoyed walks for ice cream at chill & grill most nights and it was perfect to rest up after LOTS of miles hiking.

Summary: We saw the original photos on Zillow. They did a lot of good work and it was fairly functional. Although the downstairs bathroom used to have a shower, which would have been better left instead of the extra washer and dryer(since there is another washer and dryer in a locked room). For the 4 bedrooms an extra bathroom would have been appreciated. One of the upstairs bedroom did not have a window A/C unit and only a fan. So it was pretty warm day and night. The doors are close to the originals and don't shut well and are loud. The downstair bathroom also did not lock. The family liked the house, but it is still a work in progress. The porch was definitely a good upgrade and the kids liked the lightning bugs at night.
