Positive: Great swimming pool.

Negative: Unfortunately, it's a poor place to park a large car. You have to be careful that your car doesn't get scratched from bumper to bumper by the jealous construction workers working on the resort expansion. If you're a foreigner and you're there with a local girl, you have to be especially careful with your car.

Positive: Good location to the main street which takes a couple minutes via the hotel tuk tuk, although this is a 10 min walk along a very bumpy & dark unlit road if you’re outside of the hours they provide the tuktuk for. Made us sandwiches for early morning trips and floating breakfast served in your own pool was a lovely touch. Really good hairdryer. Bed and pillows were so comfy!! Had a good nights sleep. Staff were friendly and responsive.

Negative: Cons This only relates to Villa 5, we’re not sure what the others are like. We arrived late after a long day of travelling and the patio door did not lock at all. Granted the garden gate locks but this is not the point as someone could jump the wall and still get into your villa. Just made us feel unsafe especially when sleeping. The team did their best to fix the lock that night, and was unable to but it was fixed the next day whilst we were out so we had to go out with the room unlocked and our belongings inside. The Safe was absolutely tiny and wasn’t bolted down so we couldn’t use it and i had to carry our passports and valuables around with us for 3 days in a waterproof bag to go in the ocean! (Not ideal) There are facilities for you to cook, but there were no plates, and only 1 spoon and 2 forks. Kettle lid was broken. There was also no towel to dry cups/glasses after washing them. Shower either runs scalding hot or freezing cold all the way through when you’re washing yourself. Shower drain constantly making a dripping sound even though all the taps were off. Key gets stuck in the gate lock and very difficult to unlock and pull key out. The place could have really great potential as it looks beautiful but when you look closer it’s just let down by some of the finishes (filling of the walls - grey filler) and was left unpainted when the walls were white), and some of the cleanliness in the shower and lack of facilities. Just lots of little things that added up over the days and after the door lock situation we just didn’t want to keep complaining so just got on with it.

Summary: Has great potential but wasn’t for us.

Negative: Breakfast was pretty basic, practically the same thing every morning (eggs, salad, bread, fruits) no matter what option you chose.

Positive: The pvt pool, the calm and natural setup. The staff amazingly courteous

Negative: Barely anything… the pool had an algea problem before i left but probably taken care of by now…

Positive: The villas are beautifully decorated, spotless and very comfortable. We had two 2 bed villas with each room having an ensuite. The beds were comfortable and the AC worked well. Sadly the TV channels didn't work but we only stayed one night so that was fine. Hair dryers are also not provided which is a shame Breakfast is included and is served in your villa. The complex is quite far from the beach but the property does offer a shuttle service and they were kind enough to help us to arrange our onward transfers. We would have loved to have stayed for longer to enjoy the private pool and relaxed atmosphere of the complex and would definitely stay again.

Positive: So we really liked the intimacy of the private pool, the free tuk tuk service, the cleanliness was great, and the staff were always very responsive.

Negative: So we really wanted to give this place a higher review but cannot justify it. For the price you expect certain basic minimums. For starters the toilet in our room took 15 min to refill after flushing. The hose next to the toilet also leaked. In a resort like this you expect for breakfast that they have either brewed coffee or espresso, and they said they only had instant coffee (we've stayed in places 1/4 the price of this one that at least have brewed coffee). The key/locking mechanism in our door didnt work so every morning when we wanted to leave the maintenance person had to come and lock it for us. The cleaning people also didnt bother to lock when they left. The worst bit though was the main fuse would trip whenever we used the hot water heater with a loud "boom" and flash while showering. This felt very unsafe. They did finally move us to a new villa after 2 days in a row of near constant issues. Also there is construction next to this resort which is quite loud.

Summary: Disappointing stay - poorly constructed
