Positive: Location was lovely, very peaceful..

Negative: We had issues with filling the hot tub in that after sometime I realized the water was coming out of a pipe onto the grass, we discovered the pipe to empty was still turned on therefore took sometime to refill due to this issue. Noone returned my call when I left a message. No coals for BBQ

Negative: Unfortunately although the previous guests had left a review about the issue with the hot tub this had not been addressed by the owners a few days later when we arrived. Due to the combination of needing to refill the hot tub on arrival, the lack of an operating manual for the hot tub settings as the arrival notes only provided initial instructions but no instructions if things don't work, (the owner realised that the settings were incorrect the day after we arrived so we already lost 24 hours use) and the fact that it takes 24 hours for the hot tub to heat it wasn't until day 3, the last day of our stay that we had use of this. As it was a friends birthday celebration the hot tub requirement was one of the top reasons we had chosen Pheasant Cottage.

Summary: A nice cottage apart from the issue above.

Positive: The location is beautiful, the house is stunning and has everything you need. We had a wonderful, chilled weekend which is just what we were looking for.

Negative: We had to fill the hot tub ourselves which was no problem at all as we were given clear instructions but unfortunately it took until the next morning to reach temperature so we were unable to use it the first day.

Summary: Stunning house, great location. Would absolutely recommend!

Positive: Beautifully presented. Spacious open plan living / dining / kitchen area. Master bedroom with ensuite is lovely, with doors into garden / hot tub.
