Negative: A dangerous bedroom!- almost knocked myself out, twice, on the low ceiling/ window recess. I made representation to the estate manager who was sadly not interested Be very careful!!!!

Positive: Cosy, clean, comfortable and recent within a nice old cottage. Was also very quiet and peaceful. The wifi was great (we had to work 2 days and had no issue at all)

Negative: We struggled a bit with the woodburner (we’ve got one at home but bigger) the logs were not burning so well but it’s more for the cosy part of the stay as it is definitely warm enough with the radiators

Positive: Stunning location, although we did miss the turn-off. So peaceful and loved our visits from the neighbouring pheasants.

Negative: I didn't sleep very well, which was probably because it was a different bed. The sofas weren't very comfy, but it is a small space so regular sofas would be too big. These were not an issue though.

Summary: Superb cottage in a stunning location, it definitely relaxed us which was the aim of our stay.
