Positive: I booked the cabin for my 29th birthday on September 11th to spend with my girlfriend and to get away from everyone and everything after working 13 months straight. I wanted seclusion, and this resort achieved it. It was quiet, beautiful, away from town, and peaceful. I loved the small yet open floor plan, it was clean and easy to maintain for 2 nights - I wish I could have stayed longer.

Negative: Highly recommend a vehicle with good tires and/or ground clearance, part of the road has some deep dips on it, luckily I planned ahead and rented a Jeep Wrangler from Turo. Sometimes the cabin lock wouldn't lock, no other issues.

Summary: Best birthday in a long while.

Positive: Nestled in the Phantom Canyon area, it's rustic and beautiful. The barn has been beautifully converted into a living space. The owners were responsive to text and were accommodating to our desire to sight see, which made our arrival later than the check-in time.

Negative: We were only there for one overnight. The property is hidden, and the signs are old and need updating. The signs reference Great Wolf lodge, but due to legal reasons, the owners had to rename it Phantom Canyon lodge. Not much of a complaint, though. The scenery is worth it.
