Summary: Spending a week with family, was so much fun. Even had a day of snow. Home was perfect, so cozy and all comforts of home. Would definitely stay again. Communication was great with our host. Hated to leave.

Summary: We were delighted to enter and find a small decorated Christmas tree and a strand of lights going up the stairway rail to set the tone for our Christmas stay. Spotless. Roomy. Peaceful. Plentry of recliners. Very homey. The kitchen and bathrooms were well-supplied. Quiet neighborhood with quick access to all attractions including the ice castles. Communications with our hostess were immediate and friendly. Thank you so much, Kari, for sharing your beautiful home with our family where we were able to hold our sweet baby granddaughter for the first time!

Summary: The place was the perfect place for a couple of friends to stay. Each couple had their room and bathroom. The place was super clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed, including coffee in the morning. We loved the proximity to Golden Nugget, which was within walking distance, and spent most of our time. The weather was in the 50s too cold for us Californians to walk to the downtown area or the other casinos, so we drove there. We enjoyed the restaurant in the Double Eagle Casino, which we ate a few times for dinner. I would highly recommend this place away from home when visiting Cripple Creek!

Summary: We have stayed at Family Mountain Retreat several times in the past few years and it has always been wonderful. It is a family tradition to go to the Butte Theater every fall and Kari's home is our favorite place to stay. It is close to Cripple Creek' s main road and it is so peaceful and quiet. We always have a wonderful time. Thanks so much for your hospitality Kari!!
