If you are looking for peace, tranquility, beautiful views in an unspoiled landscape with a rich historical background, look no further! A stay in our houses, nestling in the hills above Londa, a pretty old village about 30km from Florence, will offer you a memorable experience.
Our property for two, La Capannina is an ancient barn which was restored maintaining the original features , but adding all the comforts of today s daily life. It s on two floors. Downstairs the dining living area with cooking corner and the bathroom . Upstairs a very large bedroom with fireplace. The two main rooms are connected by a staircase and each of them has an exit to the garden which is on two levels providing shady and sunny areas all day long. A lovely patio before the kitchen accommodates chairs and table to have meals outside and deck chairs to relax . The upper level of the garden has sunbeds and table and chairs for breakfast in front of the bedroom . XIX century wooden pieces of furniture typical of the area create an authentic cosy atmosphere. The pool (14m x 7m) set in lovely extensive ground is just twenty meters away and is shared with other two properties.
The location is ideal to enjoy a peaceful Holiday away fro it all but it s also very suitable for daytrips to the most important Tuscan towns and cities , like Florence , Lucca, Pisa , Siena and Arezzo. La Capannina belongs to a farming estate where organic wine and extra- verin olive oil are produced. Tours to the family oil mill and vineyards are regularly organized in the high season. You need a car to get to the property.

Summary: We had a lovely stay at Marialuisa's place! The environment of the house is very peaceful and relaxing, This lovely, charming cottage is hidden in a valley with an amazing view over the surrounding mountains. Summary: We had a very nice stay at La Campannina. It is a beautiful place in a beautiful setting. Don’t be scared when you drive up to Vierle, just “blow your horn” as Maria Luisa told us to do! The house is well equipped and sitting outside under the pergola with the smell of the linden trees is marvelous. Trips to Florence and Arezzo gave us the right Toscan feeling and are within reach. You get value for money and Maria Luisa is a very helpful and friendly host. Thank you for a wonderful holiday in Vierle! Fam. van Kan Netherlands

Summary: Even for the sixth time being here the place keeps surprising us. Every time when we arrive and seeing this beautiful cottage it is like coming to our second home. We do feel so welcome by Maria Luisa, Vanni and Nicola. We have in Holland the expression: Feeling like God in France, well this is even better, feeling like God in Italy! Every morning when we opened the wooden door we were greeted by the stunning view and during our breakfest we enjoyed the scenery. This is the ultimate place to find rest. sitting laying in the deckchairs, reading and watching the big poole. And when it gets to warm going for a swimm. Wenn were in the mood for sightseeing we travelled to Firenze by train or drove to Poppi, Arezzo, Sienna, Lucca. The cottage feels very cozy and during the night you can hear the silence with now and then the sound of wildlife. For us this place deserves 10 Stars. Thank you Maria Luiza, Vanni and Nicola, we hope to come again Christine and Henk

Summary: Firstly, the property is beautiful and just the right accommodation for 2 people. There were different areas around the spacious ground surrounding our property- very quiet and secluded. We enjoyed views of the stunning surrounding countryside and the shared pool. The pool area was well set out with loungers, table, umbrellas set out in spacious groups around the large grassy area. Although there were a few other families, we often had the area to ourselves. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet, having barbecues and drinking the delicious wine the family produced in their vineyard. We visited surrounding small towns as well as Arezzo which is smaller and quieter than Florence but very beautiful. The only slight drawback for us was that there were no restaurants within walking distance and every excursion was by the very windy road down to the village. Summary: A characterful property in a beautiful, quiet location surrounded by unspoilt woodland, birdsong and stunning views. Good local walks, hamlets and towns to explore along with an easy close train into Florence. Maria- Luisa and family are extremely helpful with advice if required for local restaurants etc. A thoroughly relaxing week thankyou.

Summary: We stayed at La Capannina to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary. A lovely house, well equipped and maintained with plenty of character and history. Nothing better than sitting outside in the evenings watching the sun setting over the mountains, listening to the wildlife and watching the stars coming out whilst sipping a glass of local wine! Views are spectacular and ever-changing. Lovely pool area with more amazing views. Great to have owner Maria Luisa on site to welcome us to the house and show us around. Local small town of Londa has a good selection of shops and restaurants and a train service to Florence - but it's all too tempting not to venture far from La Capannina at all!

Summary: This fabulous rural property was like a little piece of heaven. A beautiful peaceful place to relax and unwind. The description of the property was accurate. Marie Louisa the owner was very helpful and welcoming. We would highly recommend thus property. We were joined by our daughter and grandchildren who stayed in an adjacent property which is ideal fir families. The swimming pool is lovely very attractive surroundings and clean and very well maintained by the owners. The location is near a small village with very friendly local people. There were two very good restaurants in the village and several within 20 minutes drive. Florence us easily accessible by a local train. Thank you once again for a fantastic holiday we hope to be back.
