Now accepting reservations! After a six-month hiatus, our beautiful condo is back — completely remodeled and ready to welcome guests once again. Every detail has been thoughtfully updated for comfort, quality, and coastal style.
Minimum stay: 30 days
The Space
The downstairs living area features wide-plank oak floors, a cozy fireplace, and a smart TV. The space opens onto a Mediterranean-inspired sunny courtyard that connects directly to the 650-acre Ellwood Mesa Preserve.
The gourmet kitchen includes:
• Custom white oak cabinetry
• Taj Mahal quartzite countertops
• Professional-grade appliances
• A dedicated microwave/coffee closet.
A laundry area and fully remodeled half bath are also located on the main floor.
Upstairs, the primary bedroom overlooks the sweeping open space of Ellwood Mesa. The guest bedroom features two twin beds and mountain views of the Santa Ynez Range. The full bathroom is completely renovated and includes a soaking tub.
Original local artwork is featured throughout the home, giving it the feel of a private coastal art exhibit.

Our sunny condo sits right next to the Ellwood Mesa-Devereux Preserve, offering peaceful water views of the newly restored Devereux Slough and direct access to a Class 1 bikeway leading to UCSB.
Enjoy morning walks to the uncrowded beach, birdwatching at Devereux Slough, and seasonal visits to one of the largest Monarch Butterfly groves in the U.S. Attend UCSB lectures, cultural events, and athletic games just minutes away. Downtown Santa Barbara is an easy 15-minute drive south, and the renowned Santa Ynez Valley wine country lies just 45 minutes north.

Summary: Wonderful place to stay, owners were helpful as well. Good deal for the cost. Back patio garden is unreal with great views of open space. 20 minute walk through reserve to gorgeous long beaches.

Summary: This was our third time to use a VRBO in the Santa Barbara area. While the others were adequate for our needs this unit was far and away our best yet. Floor plan, accommodations, furnishings all excellent . Location at the Elmwood preserve afforded an excellent opportunity for hiking, biking, and beach time. Stores and restaurants conveniently nearby. Mary was great to work with. Very attentive to our needs. Highly recommend.

Summary: Very disappointed by the cleanliness of property especially during covid! pots and pans had crusty food on them, rugs were filthy, furniture stained. Upon arriving I complained owner doubted me said she would check with cleaning team? Was there one ? Food marks on coffee table. Beds OK and location lovely, with a little investment could be a very nice place.Also neighbor to the right was a problem pounding on the wall for no reason.

Summary: Wonderful place for an extended stay. The location is perfect, within walking or biking to many Goleta attractions. Safe, quiet and peaceful. West facing backyard with beautiful sunsets every evening. The property managers are amazing to work with.

Summary: My wife and I enjoyed our stay. The place was just like the pictures. It was perfect for our visit with family in Santa Barbara. Close to shopping and just 20 minutes from our family. It was in a quiet neighborhood. You are close to the airport. The Santa Barbara airport isn't busy and there wasn't a problem with airport noise.

Summary: The condo looks out onto a newly created refuge. The Pacific ocean lies beyond. Very peaceful, with lots of bird activity. All amenities: well stocked kitchen, comfy bedrooms and baths, lots of closet space.
