Positive: The "Holiday" touches were great: "Elf on the Shelf" and "Hot Cocoa" in the lobby were well received by my family. The location of the hotel was very convenient to the UCSB campus where my daughter needed to be by 9am each day. It was only an 8 minute drive.

Negative: It would be nice to have more access to complimentary water. Also the wifi connection to the TV (Netflix) seemed a bit slow. Overall, the experience was great though.

Summary: For the two nights we stayed, we were comfortable and well taken care of.

Positive: Easy place to stay right next to the airpot. Appreciated the big room and clean kitchen. And happy the windows opened at least a little. Was only there one night so didn't really check out the facilities.

Negative: Room was pretty heavily perfumed.

Summary: Easy nice place close to the airport.

Positive: The location for visiting UCSB was excellent in terms of proximity to campus. There are no real dining options within walking distance, so it's a good thing a full breakfast was included. That part was great, and the breakfast area is lovely, with indoor-outdoor seating. The courtyard with pool, firepits, putting green, cornhole, etc was lovely. Very social atmosphere. We brought our dog with us, and staff was very warm and there were plenty of places to walk him. The room, particularly the bathroom, was lovely. Lots of closet space, large desk, and the kitchen area was laid out well.

Negative: There were items in the freezer, and no conditioner in the shower, so not sure how meticulous the housekeeping is. The mattress was really bouncy, so if you are sharing a bed, you will feel every single thing your partner does. And with the couch folded out into a bed in the suite, it is really tight. There is not a lot of room to move around. But for a quick weekend trip it was fine. It was also a little freaky to walk into an unoccupied room and have the TV talk to us. Took us a few to figure out how to turn it all off.

Positive: The breakfast was great had a lot of choices.

Negative: Dogs were seen in the the gated pool area getting wet wanted to enjoy the pool/hot sauna but due to health safety and santaity concerns did not. Feces and urine, fleas/Tick with human contact in the water not safe.
