Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our week at The Roses! This property has great bones and lots of charm. The location is perfect within the Beachwalk community. A short walk to the tennis court, cafe, pool and Lake Kai. It sits directly across from a park where we played daily wiffle ball! The wrap-around porch is amazing. The house and guest house easily accommodated our group of 14. There were multiple small issues with the house and the maintenance team was quick to respond. Overall, the home could benefit from a refresh all around but it is great of you don’t mind outdated appliances and fixtures.

Changed houses this year and had some issues with the house, things not working, AC quitting twice, etc. Maintenance responded quickly but the problems were not resolved.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: New and updated outdoor firepit space was great. Utilized the addition of garage frig for our drinks. There are some tired mattresses and others that are in great shape. The gathering TV room is small but that works for our group. Has doors that close so the TV watchers are separated from the game players at the tables. Great table space for large group that includes tables on screened porch. No coffee maker for k-cups this year. Skillets were difficult to cook with as the coating was worn off and scratched. Can find anything you’ll need in the kitchen. Crib and pack n play available. High chair and booster seat for the little ones needed a big scrub down this year. The large screened porch is a favorite feature for our group. The location is one of the best at Beachwalk. We have stayed in 5 other homes through the years. The bedroom set up works great for our family. Enjoyed our stay and plan to be back at The Roses next year.

The grandkids loved having their third floor bedroom and bathroom. The porch was a favorite resting spot but make sure you wear flip flops as the porch floor is quite dirty. And take shoes off before entering the house to avoid spreading the dirt. We loved boing across from the Central Park where the kids loved to play and in easy walking distance to the pool. The kitchen had plenty of dishes for our group of 18 and two dishwashers was really helpful. Plenty of comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. We enjoyed the nice fire pit area and the golf cart. We had some problems with the Rose bud apartment above the garage, finding a gas leak from the stove and dryer several days into the trip. It was addressed promptly but both had to be turned off so the family staying there left a few days early. We were reimbursed for two days for that apartment. The staff throughout the complex and main office over the phone were polite and helpful. The facilities throughout the resort were well maintained and so enjoyable for all of our family members. I highly recommend Beachwalk for families wanting to have a fun filled vacation.
