Summary: We hosted a family reunion! It was everything we hoped for! Kids loved the lake, boating and fishing! The accommodations were perfect! There was more than enough space for our large group cookouts, gathering on the decks to watch the sunsets, and storytelling in the living room space. Beverly is a great host! Communication A!!! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us! It was our second reunion there and would highly recommend!!!

Summary: We really enjoyed our time here and the listing is accurate. The gift basket was amazing and we really enjoyed the information about the items being Tennessee made. Communication with the host was excellent. The only "problems" we had were minor and did not affect our overall stay. The vent fan in the upstairs bathroom kept tripping the breaker and the only way we could get the oven to turn off was to flip the breaker. A suggestion would be to add a chair to the large upstairs bedroom, with the bed being so high (although very comfy!) it was difficult to put my shoes on. I know, not a huge deal - just a suggestion as someone older might not feel secure coming down the hardwood steps in socks.

Summary: We stayed here for a long weekend to attend a family wedding at Howe Farms. Upon check in, we found an amazing welcome basket that both the adults and kids enthusiastically enjoyed! We actually had really nice weather for March and the older teens were able to take the 2 kayaks out and paddled across the river and back! There are a lot of steps down to the dock and river, but it was fun to enjoy the deck and all its space. The sunsets were beautiful along the river.

Summary: Great location on the lake! I was really too cold to enjoy the outdoor amenities. We will plan to go back in the summer. The house was a little dated, some of the fixtures needed repair. I really appreciated the Christmas decorations.

Summary: We hosted an early Thanksgiving family reunion. It was a perfect place…the parking ample, amenities excellent, kitchen fully equipped, beds cozy, fireplace warm and inviting, wonderful welcome basket, and the host was quick to answer our few texts.
