Positive: The location is great for the main ski lifts only 2 mins walk away and a similar short walk from a ski run home. The sitting room is lovely with a beautiful free standing fireplace and lovely sofas. The modern recently renovated bathrooms are good. The chalet host Philippa was excellent.

Negative: The kitchen was very old (at least 30 yrs) with very dated appliances. The oven was not a fan oven just having 2 heating elements and the toaster was very poor quality. Very few kitchen knives also poor quality. Not what one would expect at this price point. The kitchen needs replacing! The dining area had a long very thin table making it difficult to eat around which also has a very wide base making it difficult to put chairs under. This too needs replacing in my view. The view of the Matterhorn is quite limited from this apartment due to its location on the west side of the valley. The Matterhorn is only visible from the far left of the balcony and one of the bedrooms. It is not at all visible from the dining area or sitting room which is a shame. The bedroom furniture could be better and there is not a desk / work space in each bedroom.

Summary: Good and not so good.
