Positive: The location was amazing! So close to everything! The spaces within the apartment were ideal! We loved that the apartment was in a ‘Traboule’. The kitchen was very good with great cooking pans and good dishwasher, cooktop, microwave and oven. The decor was lovely with comfortable bed and lounge. Wonderful view from the huge windows. Light, bright and airy space with gorgeous high ceilings. Super secure locking system and entrance. Very safe and homely!!

Negative: The odorous drain in the shower required attention. Not enough toilet paper for 7 days. Extra towels were needed to last a whole week and in case one got very wet.

Summary: Brilliant location, with an amazing city at your door step!

Positive: Apartment was spacious and well maintained. Bed comfortable, good heating, shower pressure good. Coffee etc provided. Heated towel rack. Yes, there are 78 stairs to the apartment but wide and easy to climb. Good communication and a lot of information in the apartment for restaurants in the area and instructions on how everything works. Good light into the apartment from an internal courtyard. A lovely place would recommend and would return if in Lyon again. Perfect!

Negative: For such a large clock on the wall it would be good if it telled the time.

Positive: A wonderful apartment in Lyon. The location within the city is great, right near the metro stop, an easy walk to either of the two rivers and surrounded by cool restaurants and bars. It has huge ceilings and windows which flood the apartment with light and give it a really good sense of size. We cooked a number of meals in the kitchen and it had everything needed and the washing machine and dishwasher were very handy. The bed was super comfortable and the black out curtains kept everything very dark. As noted by others t is on the 3rd floor so there are quite a few stairs but they were good to work off all the great food of Lyon. Would stay here again next time we are in Lyon.

Positive: Very comfortable & modern apartment in a historical building. We stayed for six nights & had no complaints. The bakery, grocery store & wine store are all a short distance from the apartment. The metro & bus lines are an easy walk from this location. The owner was very helpful with explanations about various aspects of the apartment such as locks on the door & especially the washing machine.

Negative: Although it is understandable that there would be no elevator in a 300 year old building, it was a concern for carrying our luggage up and down three flights of stairs. It may be a consideration for those who are less able. Since the windows do open to a courtyard, there were a few nights when the noise from other apartments was very loud past 10pm which by the way, this is the time when it was suggested we should be quiet.

Positive: It's a very charming flat in the heart of Lyon. Walking distance to many restaurants, bars, shops. Very nicely equipped. You have all you need. We used the washing machine midway through our stay. Very convenient.
