Positive: The apartment is located in a very nice, older part of Lyon and a relatively easy walk uphill from the Hotel de Ville metro station. Walking downhill is obviously much easier. It takes about 7 minutes to walk from the station to the apartment. There is a nice, small Monoprix market just a 1-minute walk from the building, and the apartment has a pretty nice kitchen setup, so that you can easily prepare meals in the room. The apartment was very quiet and overlooks a park behind the building. I had the building entrance code and the code to the key lock box, well before I arrived, so that was all pretty simple. The bathroom is very nice as well.

Negative: The room has a full-sized sofa bed and a chair that opens up into a twin-sized bed. These were relatively comfortable, although, I would have preferred to have a queen-sized bed instead of the sofa. There wasn't a washing machine in the unit, which for us it was not an issue as we were only there for two nights. But if someone wanted to stay for a longer period, a washing machine would be very helpful. But the apartment, although small, has pretty much everything you need. Plus, you are right in the center of Lyon, so you can easily walk everywhere.

Summary: Very nice, small apartment located in a great historic part of central Lyon.
