Positive: The location is what I like the most about the Pea Soup Inn. It's close to literally everything (stores, restaurants, gas stations), wineries, Chumash Casino, not far from the Ocean, and the 101 is very close. Too be an older Hotel, it is in good condition. Very clean and modern. The patio or balcony is my favorite part about the room. You can hang out, chill, mingle.

Negative: The only issue I have , is that it has no elevator. My handicapped partner would have difficulty getting upstairs, so we book a ground floor room.

Summary: Very cozy and comfortable. Always a pleasure.

Positive: The property was an older property, but it is very well kept. Our room was a good fit for my family of four. We had a balcony room with view of the activity and sitting area. In the middle is a cute small building where they have the breakfast danishes, muffins and drinks. They were individually wrapped. We arrived later evening and the woman at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming. She gave me some coupons to use around local spots. Perfect little drive from Solvang. I was sad to see the restaurant next to the inn is no longer open and run down. It was a huge property. I was amazed. I’d definitely stay here again.

Summary: Wonderful stay and short drive to Solvang.

Positive: The hotel staff greeted us immediately, the office was clean and orderly. Everyone was very friendly. The room was easy to find, and neatly ready for us. The beds were very comfortable. Plenty of pillows and an extra comforter at the end of the bed. There was a nice table with 2 padded chairs. There was also a lower counter near the door, great as a luggage holder or desk. The room had a TV with remote, a small microwave and a mini fridge with a freezer you pushed a button to turn on. It froze our water bottles over night :) The tub/shower combo and toilet worked well. Plenty of towels and liquid soaps. The breakfast hut was nicely decorated with tables/chairs both inside and out. Light breakfast faire: danishes and muffins, instant oatmeal,coffee, decaf, hot water for tea and hot chocolate.

Negative: Small things: room had no tissues, no channel guide for the TV (there is one on the TV, but it takes a lot of scrolling), I couldn't find any milk or cream for my tea - only fake creamers, and lastly, no real sugar packets.

Summary: Easy to find off Freeway, close to Solvang, Very comfy!

Positive: Staff were very friendly and hotel was close to the freeway for easy access. Room was comfortable Lots of hot coffee and local danishes available in morning.

Negative: Very noisy with traffic and parking lot. Room needs updating-run down and not very clean.
