Positive: Excellent service. The room is clean. The hotel has a small pool which is very suitable if you will travel with kids. Very smooth communication with the staffs, especially, when arranging excursions. Food variety is very good. Bikini beach is just 5 minutes walk away. The island is small but you can find everything basic you need within the island. What makes this place excellent is actually the people, on how they will make you feel after your stay. I personally feel very home in this hotel.

Positive: An absolutely beautiful place to experience the Maldives for the first time! The guesthouse is beautiful, the food is good, but you can't ignore the FANTASTIC service the staff have at this house! From the first day you don't feel like a guest, but like part of the family! The excursions are absolutely fantastic, and you are taken care of from morning to night. On the different excursions they always have professional workers with them, everything from videographers, photographers, to free divers who guide you out to the reefs to experience turtles, sharks, small fish or skates of different types!

Negative: It is 100% certain that we will return here! To feel like part of the family on a trip abroad, is rare!

Positive: * the location is great - Gaafaru island has it all - beautiful tourist beach & lagoon, huge coral reef, local culture * the staff at the hotel was very helpful and attentive - Maniu and Janeen were always there to answer any questions and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable (gave us welcome drinks, took care of our luggage, went to say goodbye and give us breafast boxes when we were leaving early in the morning and organized a surprise for us during the last evening of our stay) and the owner who personally went to meet us and direct us at the airport, helped us to get to and from the island and overall was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had * the hotel is beaufiful - it has the highest rooftop in the whole island - great for private dinners & star gazing, the rooms on higher floors have great views, all the interior is well designed and stylish, the pool is well maintained too * food is very tasty - I really liked the continental breakfast that they serve especially the local tuna breakfast - Janeen was there to explain to me all the details about it
