Positive: 1. Distance: About 45–50 mins from the airport by speedboat 2. Resort Size: Very small; you can walk the entire island in 5 mins. Perfect for those seeking a quiet getaway. 3. Atmosphere: Due to the Middle East situation, there were only 50–60 guests during our stay (capacity is 150). It was incredibly peaceful and uncrowded 4. Gym: Excellent facilities. It’s actually more luxurious than many other five-star resorts. 5.Dining: About 14 main dishes per meal (excluding salads/breads). Every dish was delicious. In addition to Western food, there are 2–3 Chinese options per meal that cater well to Chinese tastes. The current Executive Chef is from Sweden, and the Chinese dishes are high quality because they previously hosted a Japanese guest chef for training. 6. Dining Variety: The menu rotates weekly, so it’s not the same every day. 7. Beach/Swimming: No lagoon or artificial breakwater; you can swim directly into the open ocean. 8. Bathroom: Indoor design, unlike the semi-outdoor style common in other island resorts.

Negative: 1. Drinks: As part of the All-Inclusive package, alcohol is free, but it would be great to have more variety and higher-quality cocktails. 2. Pest Control: I had many mosquito bites (30–40!) during the first three days. After reporting this, the resort started daily pest control/disinfection, which significantly improved the situation. I hope they maintain this frequency for future guests.

Positive: The property has been completely renovated. The rooms are brand new and beautifully designed. The sea is absolutely stunning. The food was exceptional, and the breakfast was generous and very varied. The same goes for the other meals. With the all-inclusive package, we were able to enjoy almost all the cocktails offered by the bar in the afternoon and evening. On our last evening, we were treated to something I had been looking forward to seeing for a long time: bioluminescence. We would definitely come back!

Positive: Breakfast was great as was lunch and dinner. Our bungalow was located on the north shore and has been renovated to new condition. Nice! The snorkeling area just in front of the bungalow allowed to see eagle rays, white tip reef sharks, grey reef sharks, turtles, octopuses, and a very large number of reef fishes.

Negative: The orange juice at breakfast was not great and the single coffee machine is VERY slow (another machine on it's way, apparently, so this should be temporary). The bathroom was very nice but as is so common it is lacking hooks to hang clothes, towels, etc. Should be easy and cheap to fix. The location is nice but quite far from the airport, of course (one hour speedboat journey that can be a bit bumpy when windy)... BTW, please don't be put off by the "9" instead of the "10". To get a 10 in my book it has to be great beyond imagination.

Positive: Recently renovated hotel, reopened at the end of November (formerly Eryadu). The beach bungalows are spacious and comfortable, with direct access to a beautiful beach and two sun loungers provided. Housekeeping is done twice a day. The house reef is accessible directly from the beach and, although still recovering, it already offers plenty of marine life, including many fish, turtles, and even sharks. The buffet is of good quality and varied every day. Special mention to Ali, our waiter, who was very kind, attentive, and always helpful. Even though the island is relatively small, it never feels crowded, whether on the beach or at the restaurant, which makes the experience very pleasant. There is no entertainment, which was a real plus for us and perfect for a relaxing stay.

Negative: The air conditioning is directed toward the bed, which can be uncomfortable. The gym equipment is a bit outdated and could benefit from renovation.

Positive: We organized our wedding and vacation there and the staff helped us to make our experience amazing 1 - Wedding- we had a coordinator who helped us to have everything as we want (we choose the place, ornaments, all details) he constantly was checking if eveyrthing is ok. I could not ask for more, so if you want to roganize the wedding, this is a perfect place 2 - The resort has also quiet places but also events where you can enjoy your vacation 3 - The staff is amazing - they are very closed to every client, the relationship was closer versus other resorts 4 - Snorkeling - 90% of the corals are dead (but I have been in more parts in Maldives so around the resort in all resorts are dead), however, the fishes are perfect! we have seen houndred of type of fishes, eagle ray, sharks, turtles. Don't worry, you will enjoy te snorkeling 5 - Food - I have never been in a place with that much variation. They changed for every meal the food, different cuisines... amazing...vegerarian... a lot of choices 6 - quiet - the cabins are separated, so you won't hear the next cabin
