Positive: The apartment is clean while appointed with everything you require and more. The cottage is situated in a stunning valley of midwales

Negative: The host Patrick uses a letting service called "Pass the keys" I will never stay at a property ever again associated with this company they are dreadful!!! My first evening at the property was completely ruined by their lack of communication and their unprofessional behaviour. We had to stand outside the property for an hour and 50 minutes making phone calls to their customer services which eventually they just didn't bother answering or blocked the number I was calling on. On the first evening we could not gain access to the property for an hour and 50 minutes which caused us to miss our dinner reservation when we did get to the restaurant they had closed the kitchen as we were so late! Blocking phone calls not releasing information to allow us to gain entry to the property. Eventually we had to use another phone which they immediately answered as they did not recognise the number to be able to talk to their customer service. Eventually after sending a negative comment to their automated cleaning service Rose the franchise owner for North Wales eventually called me much later that evening to find out why she'd got a negative comment about the cleaning. I told her that I used the system to try and get somebody from the property to talk\call me about why we could not gain access to the property! As you cannot get past customer services.... You're just left standing in the rain outside the property wondering what the hell you're going to do three and a half hours away from your home venue on a Sunday evening! Pass the keys - do not use this company.

Negative: The experience with Booking.com and Pass the Keys was problematic. Used Booking.com for many years but have not had this difficulty before. However, the lovely location and beautiful cottage soothed the stress of the booking fiasco away. Would highly recommend a stay at this lovely part of Wales.
