Positive: Felt more like a home than a hotel, owners welcome and attention to detail is fabulous. Decor of rooms is regal, a step back in time. Chandelier in the bathroom is a first for me. Pantry well stocked in the hall to help yourself with honesty payment. The grounds are beautiful. Recommend you take a bottle of wine with you as you can’t buy onsite. Lots of great walks from the house.

Negative: Not easy to walk to local pub/village in winter months.

Summary: Definitely stay again and recommend to friends

Positive: Everything was perfect, the room, the breakfast, the house, couldn't have asked for more. Every small detail was perfect, it was a chilly few days and the whole house felt perfectly cosy in every room we used, the decor was stunning and everything carefully designed and thought through

Positive: Absolutely stunning! Loved the Georgian/Victorian style decor with a modern touch 👌 Very well kept, clean and huge attention to detail for guests. Warm welcome on arrival, luxurious and comfortable stay- would highly recommend if you want a memorable experience for you and your other half 😊 Hayfield village a stones throw away so great for food and a drink 🍛 🍸 we had Italian but there are other options available 👍
