Summary: The hotel was perfect and spacious. The only thing was when it rained 🌧 🙃 we got wet to the entrance to our room because of the location...maybe adding a overhang to help with not getting wet.

Summary: This location was perfect! We were so close to the beach and were very impressed by the hotel itself. It was beautifully done and made our vacation feel very special.

Summary: The facility itself was beautiful and the location was great. There were some things, however that missed the mark. The shade on the left window in the bedroom was broken prior to our arrival and we couldn’t pull it up properly. There was a large white stain on one of the throw pillows in the living rooms, and there was quite a bit of mildew on the shower floor and bottom of the walls. Several of the outlets were not working in the living room & bedroom. Also there should be a topper on the mattress. For this to be a “premium” facility, the bed was very flat and uncomfortable compared to other high quality hotels and condos valued @ $300 + per night. The washing machine detergent drawer had to be forced past the door frame to use it because it didn’t fit in there properly and I smashed my finger. The amenities on the wellness deck were not working. Neither cold plunge was operating, the sauna wasn’t hot enough and the hot tub was locked down and we were unable to open it after the first day there. Lastly, it states on hotels.com that there is $125 due upon arrival, so I thought that the damage deposit was $125. When I got my agreement to sign, it was $500! Luckily, Bradyn was able to help. She was great, by the way, with her service. She contacted the manager and they met me halfway and authorized $300 rather than $500, but it was still another $200 that I wasn’t prepared to have to pay. Overall, I didn’t feel that it was a value of over $1,700 for 5 nights or $350 a night.

Summary: Our room was the handicap room, on rainy days you would get wet going in and out of room door, coffee maker broke, bathroom door very hard to slide open. Other than that the room was very comfortable.

Summary: This was not our first time staying in a hotel down in the Outer Banks. However, I can say this one out did the last two that we had. The kitchen had every appliance that we could need. It was a little odd, not having an office, but actually worked out better than I thought it was going to. The communication with the person that checked us in and helped us with room service was incredible and fast. There was a washer, dryer, and a dishwasher. We had originally booked a stay for three nights, and actually ended up extending by two. I found it a bit of a shame that the wellness deck was only open till 9 PM and didn’t open until 8 AM as most people that get up to do yoga or cold plunge are normally up earlier than that. But other than that everything was priced as expected, and even had an ice dispenser right next to the hotel. There where a few small things that were not cleaned when we entered, some coffee splash on the baseboards, some of the pans that were left were still dirty, they dryer vent was packed full of lint (very dangerous),there was a half bottle of vodka left in the fridge and the doors had small squares on them that Eveyone could see into (I covered mine with cardboard and tape). Sorry my pictures are blurry I had taken a video and had to screen shot them but as you can see every thing was as posted on their site

Summary: Rooms are very nice. Like a studio apartment setup. Cozy and spacious. Beach is a very short walk away. Have plenty of restaurants, shops, and attractions nearby. Definitely going again in the future.

Summary: I stayed in the Luxury Suite with private access to wellness deck, which I used! The suite was very high end, relaxing, and I had everything I needed. The internet was out (part of island life I suppose), and the contacts were communicative and available. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Summary: The room itself was very nice. Clean, spacious, well equipped. If what you are looking for is a “posh AirB&B” this is the place for you. Unfortunately, it was not as described. The lack of any onsite staff (which I would expect in a hotel) was particularly annoying when I came home after a day out to find the digital lock for my apartment no longer worked, and I had to wait on the balcony for 25 mins - first calling the conscience then waiting for the maintenance person to arrive. The “sporting club” is just more apartments at a different location. The concierge was also not available the first day or so (apparently I should have responded to her email the day before). As I said, the accommodation really is lovely. But, be prepared that it’s not a hotel, and not a water sports club.

Summary: The property was clean and spacious. The only things we didn’t like was the AC, lack of cable tv (news channels), and windows on the front door. The AC didn’t go below 68 and reset to a higher temperature after we went to bed. I had to get out of bed in the middle of the night and turn it down again. For the TV, you need to use your personal login for a streaming service. My husband wasn’t happy that he couldn’t watch the news before bed. The only other thing we didn’t like is that there are little windows on the door (

Summary: This is a perfect mix of boutique hotel and vacation rental. Interior is modern and clean, with lots of space. High end finishes, and very comfortable. The wellness deck is very nice, overlooking the sound for great sunsets. Our suite was adjacent, with a small private deck. Restaurants and shops are within walking distance. This was a perfect base for exploring the area, and then come back to a comfortable and clean cocoon.
